This workshop explores leadership and mentoring in early childhood education through a trauma-informed lens. Participants will reflect on the role of mentoring and supporting teams, sustaining practice, and building safe, nurturing environments for children and families. The session also examines mentor-mentee relationships and how everyday leadership can strengthen trauma-aware approaches

Supportive and respectful leadership is so important in any workplace. This workshop supports each participant to recognise their own leadership qualities and how to use these leadership qualities in their day-to day work.
