Foundations of Trauma‑Informed Practice in the Early Years is a free webinar designed to support practitioners and educators working alongside children and families from birth to five years. The session introduces core principles of trauma‑informed practice in the early years and explores developmentally appropriate strategies for engaging with children and families who have experienced trauma or intergenerational trauma.

With a strong focus on practical application, participants will build confidence and capability to engage families through trauma‑informed, curious conversations, and to use play‑based approaches that foster connection, safety and engagement. The session will also consider how trauma‑informed practice can positively influence children’s experiences within early learning and support contexts.
