Towards a comprehensive child mental health system: Gaps and strengths in workforce competency | Emerging Minds

Our research shows that even service workers whose job descriptions do not include support of child mental health are regularly engaged in this work. While these findings indicated that competency is moderate to low across a range of child mental health domains, engagement in workforce development can make a significant difference.

They’ll provide insight into areas of practice strength and those that require further development, including differences related to location, occupation and degree of workplace support for child mental health practice.
