Prevention in Practice | Safe + Equal

Safe and Equal’s Prevention in Practice training supports practitioners at any stage of their careers to strengthen their shared understanding, connect with other practitioners and bolster their professional toolkits with the resources, tools and frameworks to mobilise communities and workplaces for change. This course is delivered online in four x 2.5-hour sessions over two days.

What you will learn:

• Understand the evidence base for violence against women: including prevalence and drivers
• How to design and implement effective and sustainable prevention programs
• How to apply an intersectional lens to prevention work
• Designing effective prevention initiatives
• How to monitor and evaluate programs effectively
• Understanding the forms of resistance and backlash when undertaking this work
• The role of worker wellbeing and organisational care for undertaking prevention work
