The workshop will cover key areas:
- How the brain grows, particular throughout infancy to early childhood and how this relates to childhood development, big emotions, and behaviours.
- The big feelings children experience that are often linked to challenging behaviours and how do parents make sense of what is going on underneath the behaviour and respond in these moments.
- Practical strategies that can be used in the home straight away.
This workshop is for parents/carers who reside in the Shire of Cardinia, City of Casey and City of Greater Dandenong.
