By learning how to be an active bystander through Small Steps: Bystander Action for Equality, you can safely and effectively challenge sexist attitudes in your personal and professional life. This 4-hour virtual course is designed for workplaces and individuals.

Who is this for? Community members‚ human resources officers, community development workers, primary prevention officers; Anyone with an interest in creating safe, equitable and inclusive spaces is also welcome to participate in this training

• The evidence, prevalence, and impact of violence against women in Australia, and the role of primary prevention
• The important role of bystander actions in primary prevention, creating respectful and equitable environments, personally and professionally
• Evidence-based understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to identify violence-supportive attitudes and the gendered drivers of violence against women and family violence
• Strategies for challenging violence-supportive practices‚ attitudes and behaviours that relate to the gendered drivers
