The centre is pleased to be part of the Victorian Health Collective- a collaboration between Victorian peak bodies and organisations, working sustainable health and wellbeing system across our state. Ahead of the 2026 state election, the Victorian Health Collective election is calling for commitments to 6 priorities that reflect the diversity of the Victorian health and wellbeing sector. These priorities frame the approach required to meet the health needs of all Victorians regardless of their location, identity, income or life circumstances.
- Invest in equitable access to high-quality, culturally safe care.
- Strengthen integration and navigation across healthcare and social services.
- Support a strong, skilled, diverse and sustainable workforce.
- Invest in prevention, early intervention, recovery and social determinants of health.
- Reorient funding to reflect the true cost of delivering high-quality care.
- Build, expand and maintain facilities that meet community need.
