RhED is committed to respecting and reflecting the needs of the sex industry, and actively promoting the rights of sex workers.
RhED is staffed by people who have worked or are working in the sex industry and other professionals.
The RhED volunteer program is made up of current and past sex workers.
RhED resources and presentations are developed in collaboration with sex workers.
RhED is a state-wide program of Better Health Network that provides health education, support, advocacy and case management services for sex workers. RhED also supports the broader sex industry, including auxiliary workers, owners, managers, clients and families of sex workers and provides training, community education and secondary consults to the wider community.
RhED uses a social model of health, using harm minimisation, health promotion, social inclusion, and community participation approaches to promote physical, emotional and social health and well-being for its client groups.
