This week, Respect Victoria launched See the Signs, a statewide public education campaign designed to help Victorians better understand and recognise coercive control. The campaign will roll out across digital platforms, street posters, regional press and more.
See the Signs encourages people to consider the difference between healthy relationship behaviours and controlling tactics. Despite growing recognition that coercive control is a defining pattern of intimate partner violence, community understanding of what this abuse looks like has not yet caught up.
Resources are available to download and share with your community, workplace, school or sports club. Learn more about the campaign here.
